Some fun art, chairs & little playroom update

Morning y’all!

This week has gone by quickly and on Monday my oldest starts school. Bye bye summer, hello school.

Since we are getting school ready I thought it was time for the boys playroom to get some love. When I was offered an opportunity to work with World Market I was all over it! I love their home decor items. I have used so many of their products in my projects and my clients. They’re eclectic, fun and the pieces are unique and amazing!

One area I wanted to revamp was their art table. It needed artwork, and, most importantly, chairs for the boys to create art and to possibly do homework.

I started with this map of the U.S.A

I wanted to create a little more of a rustic/nautical look. I used boat rope and hooks to hang it. This made it easier and less stressful for me not to worry about if it was hanging perfectly straight or not.

And, I needed some kind of storage for their crafts and this zinc metal caddy was fun and portable.

Of course I needed pops of color. These chairs were perfect and brought a fun element to the space.

I brought in more color with this fun art, this great photo-print and this metal dachshund metal wall storage.

The boys are absolutely ecstatic about their new space, and so am I. World Market is having a great Wall Art Event sale now, y’all go check it out!
