Downtown Charleston

Two barrier islands, two personalities, one shoreline. Sullivan’s Island is laid-back and historic — Fort Moultrie, the lighthouse, a famously good restaurant row, and elevated beach houses on quiet streets where the pace slows the moment you cross the causeway. Isle of Palms adds classic beach-town energy, miles of wide sand, and the golf, tennis, and marina life of Wild Dunes Resort at its northern tip.
