One room challenge week 5

One room challenge week 5

Wow, did that just happen? Week 5 is here of the one room challenge and guess who is probably not going to be finished in time? Yes, this girl.

Missing my hardware for my shelves, items are backordered and I’m at a stand still. Well, it is what it is in this case, but I will eventually show off the reveal when I finally finish it.

In the mean time, a couple of exciting things happened.

The swing chair is here and hung!

And, one bookcase is here and installed.

And is just our playroom or does everyone else’s look like this?

Order rattan swing

Order wallpaper

Order bookshelves

Start building the shelves for the back wall.

Install wallpaper

Find lighting

Hang chair

Purge the room

Scramble and figure out what else I want to do (typical)

SO much to do and so little time to do it!

I would love to be able to surprise you and pull it off but I’m losing faith. But that’s ok, if it takes me an extra week or so, it will be worth it in the end.

Thanks for swing by friends!

Haha…I hear you about the playroom looking like that. Yes, those of us with kids know all about how messy playrooms get! I love that swing chair. I’ve been wanting one forever! Not just for my girls but for me. They look so cool! Good luck with next week’s finale!
