Yay!
Morning friends!
Wow, where did this week go? But it’s Friday and I’m thrilled for the weekend! So, in honor of Friday, I felt a Fri-yay post was due because there were so many wonderful reasons to say “yay” about this week!
First of, I’m thrilled to announce I’m part of the William Means team.
I’ve been with my past real estate company for close to 10 years, so making this change was a very big deal for me. I worked with William Means when we sold our downtown home and they were just wonderful. I hope y’all keep me in mind for your real estate needs and anyone you know moving here to Charleston.
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to spend the morning at Wild Dunes Resort having lunch, sitting by the pool in the cabana and enjoying their spa. Let me begin by saying, I’ve seen Wild Dunes change so much over the years and it keeps getting more and more fabulous. The Boardwalk Inn hotel is straight out of Coastal magazine.
This is the view from the pool to the beach, isn’t it charming?
The food was so good! We had pimento cheese on toasted bread, crab sliders, a charcuterie plate, desserts, fried green tomato’s and some other delicious items.
We sat at the cabana even though it was overcast and just laughed and talked for hours. I think we could have stayed there all day, it was so lovely!
After lunch we made our way over to the spa. The ladies at the salon spa are so wonderful. They went over and beyond to answer our questions, such an amazing staff. Kudos to the resort for hiring such wonderful people! While in the spa/salon shop I saw the cutest romper. I was excited to get my first Escapada romper. I couldn’t resist the flamingos!
I learned from the ladies that Escapada is made here locally. I had no idea, however was thrilled to see the resort carrying them along with several other locally made products.
Finally, I made my way to the relaxation room and waited for my massage. My masseuse rocked and really listened to what my problems area were. I have so many neck and shoulder problems and he really understood and made sure he worked on those areas so that I could leave feeling better.
The entire experience was wonderful, if you visit and want a beach vacation that’s not too far from Mt. Pleasant or downtown, Wild Dunes resort has so much to offer.
And, this one should have made it’s appearance last week. but I don’t Iy really made me jump up and down. I finally, after 10 months, have a barn door for my master bathroom. I struggled so badly on what I wanted. I needed a statement piece because our bedroom is somewhat dramatic with the design of the high and open ceilings and dark colors. I ordered a 5 panel door originally and when it was held up against the wall I didn’t like it and sent it back. I finally saw a door downtown that had great details and I showed it to my handyman and he said he would build it. Once it showed up I almost cried, I was so happy! We got the hardware from the Tractor supply store, painted it gold using Ace Hardwares generic gold spray paint and voila!
I have to apologize not linking the correct top this week on instagram. Thanks y’all for letting me know!

Thank you for dropping in and reading my posts when I write them. It’s hard for me sometimes to get them up with my career, but I do love writing them and hearing from y’all. I do hope to get to a point where they’re more consistent and a place where y’all come to be inspired. I hope y’all have a great weekend!
