My wish list…just the start of it
As I slowly renovate the home I feel that the furniture needs an update too. But of course that requires spending money that wasn’t added to my renovation budget. So to make some things happen I’ve started to sell my furniture. I’m a vendor at a little shop here in Mount Pleasant called Chic Antique. I have a talented friend (who will be a guest on my blog) that has shown me how to re-invent my old furniture into something very vogue right now- distressed furniture! I love doing it, even though finding time is a bit of a challenge, but the results are awesome!
So I’m selling some of my personal pieces to make room for my wish list and there are some fabulous wishes on this list!
I am madly in love with this sofa, I want it in linen though to match my formal living room. I love the wood detail, the curves on it and something about it has that chic feel. I think I’ve been stalking it for a year now!

For my dining room I’ve been on a mad search for this chair and I got SUPER lucky this weekend when my father-in-law, who is an antique dealer had a similar pair in his garage. It was an early Christmas gift to us and I’m over the moon! (You will get to see these beauties that we now own when I do my dining reveal in my Not Your Grandma’s Ranch Series) But below is a similar look or my inspiration.

Finally am dying for this piece for my foyer. I need a wow piece to greet you as you walk into our home and have been thinking about this piece for a long time!
