Lilac is the Hot Design Color of the Season
Lilac. It’s here; it’s everywhere. And, while the jury is still out for some homeowners, many interior and furniture designers have embraced it full-force. In fact, I’m speculating that it will be the 2014 color of the year because I feel like I see it everywhere.
Take one of my favorite local furniture stores in Mount Pleasant – Celadon. They are boasting two beautiful lilac couches that are accented perfectly with fun colors and patterns. You can see why lilac can certainly be treated as a ‘new’ neutral.
