As many of you know from my Instagram feed, I was at the Haven Conference last week. I got the chance to put a lot of amazing faces to names at this huge DIY blogger conference in Atlanta. I also learned a lot about how to network with brands, how to write posts that y’all would enjoy reading, and a good amount about photos (which I know you guys love) thanks to Instagram. The sessions were great, the sponsors were fun and the group of women that I hung out with left me with fabulous memories.

Let’s talk about the people!!

One of the first people I got to meet was Paige from The Pink Clutch. I have been looking forward to meeting her as we’ve been talking since the One Room Challenge.

Then Amanda from Dixie Delights – whom I hadn’t met before – walked in, and what a pleasant surprise. These two made me laugh until my side hurt. Seriously.

I FINALLY got to meet one of my all-time favorites – Lance from Parker Kennedy Home. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch together, and I will forever be grateful to him for participating in my coffee chat series recently. (Did you read it? GO NOW!)

Others I HAVE to mention… Aniko from Place of My Taste (thanks for rooming with me!), Summer from Simple Stylings, Mallory from Charming Charlotte, Danielle from Danielle Oakey Interiors (get to know her in my coffee chat post), Cassie from High Sugar Plum, Kirsten from 6th Street Design School, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Kristin from The Hunted Interior, Jennifer from Dimples & Tangles, Megan from Honey We’re Home, Jesse from Scout & Nimble and so many more!

It was a great networking opportunity but also a great girl’s weekend. I couldn’t believe the finale party; Home Depot rocked it. They had a huge YUMMY Mexican bar, and let’s just say I haven’t stopped eating Mexican since!! Thanks, Haven, for a job well done!
