Wow, did that just happen? Week 5 is here of the one room challenge and guess who is probably not going to be finished in time? Yes, this girl. Missing my hardware for my shelves, items are backordered and I'm at a stand still. Well, it is what it is in this case, but I will eventually show off the reveal when I finally finish it. In the mean time, a couple of exciting things happened. The swing chair is here and hung! And, one bookcase is here and installed. And is just our playroom or does everyone else's look like this? Morning' friends! Happy of the happiest Tuesdays! I had a crazy week of real estate last week and was not able to blog, but I'm making it up today with some good finds from this past weekends and last nights finds. Hey hey fun room! I love the wallpaper and pops of color everywhere! Crushing on that beautiful lacquered console! Contemporary Family Room by New York Architects & Building Designers David Howell Design This wall is simple and fabulous. I'm envious of it because I have been dying to redo my fireplace. I'm thrilled to be writing this, as this series has been long over due. I received messages asking what to do in Charleston, where to eat and where to stay. And, if you are one of my clients, you're lucky to get a tour of our magical city and an earful of why I love it so much. I have had Zero George on my radar since it first opened. If you are looking to experience real Charleston charm, you have found it. The hotel and restaurant of Zero George are old Charleston single homes, remodeled, with a courtyard and

Holy cow, week 4 of the One Room Challenge is here! Sorry for the late night post friends! Glad I made it, barely, to show you what I've been up to. So, the wallpaper was just finished today and I am nuts about it. I love the dogs, they are playful and perfect for a fun space like my boys playroom. Some miscommunication with

Happy Tuesday y'all! Hope your day is off to a good start! My husband had hernia surgery last Friday so there was a lot of time spent at home, which I have to say I enjoyed. My in-laws were in town to help and I did some serious purging of multiple spaces in our home. And, I also was able to knock out several mood boards, shopping for selections with clients and of course on-line shopping. So, I will go right ahead to show you what caught my attention this week. This home is just stunning! I love the layout, the

Morning friends! I'm working on a master bedroom project and have put together some mood boards to present to my client. I love using mood boards to help people see the vision I have for their space. There are times when the mood board will be tweaked, but it's always a good starting point. The master bedroom of my client needs some brightening and sprucing, no major demolition in this project. As you can see below, it's dark and needs some wow factors. The client asked for a boutique hotel feel. So, I presented two boards that I thought would

Morning y'all! I decided to jump on the crazy train and do the one room challenge. Linda from Calling it home has hosted this for several years now. I've bee a linking participant twice now.   It's 6 weeks of a hustling to transform a room. My first project was my guest bedroom and then I did a big boy room for  my son.  This year I'm going to work on the boys playroom.  It's been neglected for some time.  I'm thinking white walls, storage and creating a fun space. This is the current state of this huge space I want it to
