Week 3. I mean, half way there, already? I’m not even doing that large of a project, but I am stressing, second guessing my picks and pacing by my room at all hours of the day! Well, if you missed week 1 and week 2, check them out.

So, I was able to cross off a couple more items off my list.

3. Rug
4. Dresser
5. Curtains

7. Seating
8. Pillows
9. Accessories
10. Art
11. Lighting (lamp and overhead)
12. Paint or Wallpaper

Oh and let’s add new windows to that list – whoop whoop! We had always planned on changing out the windows in our home, but I didn’t expect them to show up at my door so soon… as in yesterday! We are doing all casement windows in the back, and I just love them. They aren’t glamorous, but they let in so much beautiful light without any obstruction.

OK, so onto some changes. I have changed out the pillows and am thinking about going with green. I stalked these pillows for some time. The green popped, it looked great with the black, and it was enough pattern to be fun, but not over the top for me.

Next, I tackled lighting: I first found this blue one, and I thought I was done – yes, huge score at Target!

However, this amazing lamp stopped me in my tracks. It was hanging out all by it’s lonesome, and I felt like it needed to be taken home. I mean, do you love it as much as I do?

Then, I scored when I found this Vonnegut/Kraft bed on clearance from West Elm! It’s every bit as beautiful – if not more – in person. That thing is solid! I chose it because the only place for a bed is in front of the windows, and since you can see through the headboard, it worked as it didn’t block all of my light.

Oh, and if you follow me on Instagram, you will notice a certain type of spotted fabric that was delivered this week – super excited… like jump up and down excited! I’m going to turn the fabric into curtains. I was trying to get a visual of it by leaning the bolt on the night stand.
