One room challenge
Morning y’all! I decided to jump on the crazy train and do the one room challenge. Linda from Calling it home has hosted this for several years now. I’ve bee a linking participant twice now. It’s 6 weeks of a hustling to transform a room.
My first project was my guest bedroom and then I did a big boy room for my son. This year I’m going to work on the boys playroom. It’s been neglected for some time. I’m thinking white walls, storage and creating a fun space.
This is the current state of this huge space
I want it to be bright, white and organized. I want to add fun pops of color and plenty of storage. There needs to be essentially stations. Such as a reading nook, the art station.
Here’s a start to my vision, the rest will have to come on its own as I work my way through this project.
Things are normally pushed up against the wall. But I have the painters coming today to get there painting started because I’m feeling the pressure already!
Wish me luck!

Yay for playrooms! I did a playroom for the ORC in the spring, but you don’t see many of them around these parts, so I’m really excited to see yours come together. Mine was MUCH smaller (under the stairs), so I’m envious of all the space you are working with! I’ll definitely be back to see your progress! 🙂
Krystine
Thanks! I think I bit off more then I can chew with this challenge!
