Up to my eyeballs in pavers
We are about to begin a HUGE project- landscaping. That part of the reno slipped my mind, but not my husbands. So, in my home I have so many pavers that they’re all looking a like. I don’t think I ever realized how expensive landscaping was until we started to get bids…LOTS of bids.
Luckily, we have done some good negotiating and feel like we have made a good decision. I’m so excited to have it done because it will really take our home to the next level. We painted the brick like I had mentioned in one of my older posts, haven’t shown it yet b/c of how horrible our yard looks, but I know it will look great when it’s all said and done.
Our landscape architect, who is super talented and a great friend of Ryan’s put together an amazing plan for the front yard, but an even more awesome plan for the backyard! Did I mention the pool, yes there will be one and I’m willing to bet we’ll see our friends a lot more once it’s in- ha!
Here are some ideas we are toying with as we make final decisions…

  These pools are gorgeous….they are definitely going to inspire us when we do ours. Finally, you need a pool house- LOVE this one below- we may not to do it exactly because it needs to have multiple functions for us, storage etc…but I’m going to start with this image and design from there!  And of course we must include the circular driveway- where else are people going to park? This one is a bit much for us, but I love the posts as you enter the driveway- we definitely have incorporated that!   Just a friendly reminder….this was our home when we bought it. Can’t wait to share soon!

I do love the idea of landscaping a circular driveway. It is the first thing people would see when they visit the house, so it would give them a good impression seeing that the driveway is also beautiful. I am looking forward to witnessing the outcome of your landscaping project! I bet it would be impressive after seeing the many great ideas you want to do!

We have almost the same paver design at home like the first two. And I have to say that it can work both on the poolside and on a driveway. You did mention that you have a plan for the pool, right? ;] It is always nice to incorporate grass within your landscape, whether you’re using faux or genuine grass. But I would suggest that you opt for the drought-tolerant ones to keep a polished look easier. Anyway, did you follow through this plan?
